Quick Update

Hey guys this is Rudy Mason.  So just want to apologize for the lack of posts as of late.  Trenton has been on a trip and just has not been able to get on the computer for awhile and we have not been able to communicate.  Once he gets back on we will get back up and running with a new theme to talk about.  Thanks for the support!

Quick thing...

Canada, the country that has supplied my blog with my second most pageviews, is being approached by South Korea in my all-time pageviews list. Canada is at 706, and S.Korea is at 601. I wouldn't be surprised if all of the pageviews were by Christopher 164. Canada, are you gonna let one man beat you?

Bad News Alert!

Whom Should You Fear?

Fear is common.  Every human, though some may deny it, has some sort of fear.  There are many types of fear.  The fear of man, fear of heights, etc.  First off I would like to say that fear in it self is not a sin in my opinion.  That doesn't mean that it cannot become a sin.  One fear that can commonly become a sin is the fear of man which I mentioned earlier.  This is something that I personally struggle with.  It becomes a sin when you are constantly trying to please man.( Wow that was real original).  When you thoughts and actions bent on trying to look cool or smart it is a sin.  It is a sin because you are putting yourself first before God, saying that I need to be cool, and I need glory.  Only God and Jesus deserve glory.  In my opinion the only right fear is the fear of God.  This doesn't mean we should be scared of him, this means that we should give him the respect and honor due his name.  Yeah that is my thoughts and opinions, and I encourage you all to comment and give me and Trenton your thoughts. Signing off.

Introductions

Hey everyone! This is Rudy Mason.  This is my first post of hopefully many to come.  Well if I am going to be writing on this site I think I should tell you guys a little about my self.  I am 14 years old and my birthday is on May 15th.  I love sports especially basketball.  I love God and I constantly try to glorify him in everything I do but I don't always succeed.  I act in the Adventures of Titus Billings as Undercode and Keeve and know nothing about Adventures in Odyssey(So do not expect any posts about AIO from me).  I am really excited about where this site is going.

Ok, so enough about me here some things about this site.  First of all I would like to clarify the goal of this site.  It is not just about you guys learning(Especially because you would be learning from two 14 year olds).  We hope that you guys will ask questions and that we can discuss them so that we can all learn more about God an his word.  Second we(Being Trent and me) dont know everything(Again we are only 14) so please correct us if it is necessary.  Hopefully through the discussions all that we talk about can be interpreted correctly.  Thirdly me and Trent would like to make a promise to you all.  We promise that we will do our best to base all that we post/talk about on the Bible and only on the Bible.  So yeah if you have any questions please comment.

Video Games, the greatest waste of time on earth.

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't written in so long. I just moved, so we were getting adjusted.
Well, I guess I should write something again.
This post won't be long, but I'd like to spark a discussion. What do you think about video games. I personally think, though they can be fun, they should played in moderation. For me, that means two hours a week. What do you think? Are they a waste of time, or an awesome pastime. What games do you play? I play Madden and Minecraft.

Why? Why?

I have a question. Why did I only get 15 pageviews yesterday? Speak up!

Get Involved!

Hey! With all the new kind of posts we're doing here, I'd love to get some more feedback. Granted there is a lot already, but I'm getting, like, 120 pageviews a day, and it's obvious all my viewers aren't giving their input. I don't know everything, and I need corrected sometimes.
Also, my good friend, Rudy Mason, will be joining the blog shortly. He just needs to get a google account. When he does, we'll be announcing even more great stuffs! So Stay Tuned!
One last thing: My family is moving across an ocean in a few days. Don't ask. That means lot's of plain travel, airport layovers, and sleeplessness. Please pray for this huge move. Thanks.

I would, but....

Hey, all! I was going to post a review of First Things First, the First episode of album 59, but David Hilder, Micah , and Mr. Whit's End beat me to it.
View it on the AIO Update, here.
View it on the CBDB, here.
View it on the AIO Alcove, here.
Enjoy!

Lying Lips

After debating in my head for three and a half minutes what to write about (the other two were about missions, and what we can learn from secular movies), I finally decided to go with Lying Lips.
Lying Lips are one of Satan's primary ways to attack. Gossip, and rumors that aren't true can spread anywhere. But my question is, what is lying? If you're doing something you're not supposed to, and your mom asks, "What are you doing?'', what do you say? "Nothing", or "I don't know", or maybe you tell a strait out lie. (I wouldn't expect any of  you to be guilty of doing this, so don't worry). I confess I'm guilty of the first two often. Are those lies? Well, you are doing something, and you do  know what you are doing. So, in my opinion, yes that is a lie. What if you're lying to protect your friend?  Is that bad? Unless he is in real danger, you never lie to keep your friends from getting punished for something they deserve. It will help them more than if they got away with it.
Now here's the real gem of the article...  that will stir a debate: Predestination.
What is predestination? Predestination is God choosing who would be saved before the foundation of the world. There are analogies like, "my father is predestined, and my mother is not, therefore my mother cannot be saved". This is my way to defuse those kinds of analogies. When you become saved from sin, God puts a will for Him in your heart. You do not get this will unless He gives it to you. Since God is sovereign, it is he who decides everything that will ever happen on earth. He decided who he would mercifully save from destruction before the world began. He always knows what will happen, because he decides it. I hope that helps anyone who doesn't really understand predestination. Thanks for reading!

Just hours away...

Hey people! Even though we changed the format, we'll still do the occasional AIO post, and there's some newsworthy news about AIO.
Ahem, falalala!
Alright, so we're just a few hours away from the release of "First Things First" (the first episode of Album 59: Taking the Plunge) on the OAC. A new summary of the album was just released to us OACers.
Why is Connie feeling anxious about the future? Why is Buck hanging out with Vance's gang? Discover what brought Penny to town, the latest on the "Let's Get Together Festival," and what happens when "Deputy" Meltsner gets his first case. This brand-new collection won't air on the radio until fall, but you can hear all six episodes right here in the Odyssey Adventure Club!
No joke. Sign up for the OAC today to check it out!

New AIO Book released!

The AIO Jones & Parker book was released! Yay!
Get it here.

The Importance of Prayer... and my thoughts...

Hi everybody! How are you doing? You can comment that, if you wish. Today I'm going to do my best to summarize (did I spell that right?) the importance of prayer (hence the title).
The number one thing, I think, is sincerity. If your not being sincere, I would say your pretty close to taking the LORD's name in vain. I would also say to treat God with respect in your prayers.
Some people say, "Talk to Jesus like you would talk to your best friend". No. Uh-uh. Not at all! Jesus is not your peer! He's your Lord, your Savior, the only thing that kept you and I from eternity in a bad place. Don't say, "Hey Jesus, what's up. I want a Lego set for my birthday. It's called The Wookie Gunship. It's a Star Wars set. Set number 75084. Got all that? K. Talk to ya later."
Never ever do that. Prayer is a wonderful gift from God, and we all should use it more. I also think that praying long prayers for the sake of praying a long prayer is stupid. It's not a contest, it's thanking your creator and talking to him. I don't have long conversations with my dad for the sake of having a long conversation. Talking to God is a great privilege, something that only us predestined believers can do. Those are my thoughts. Comment what you thought of my thoughts. Over.

Forum Reinstated for Growing Up With Trent

Hey!
I've reinstated the forum for Growing Up With Trent. You can talk about many things, but not inappropriate things (duh). Check it out here. And remember, always glorify God with your conversations!

What I believe.

Hi.
Since I'm going to be doing a lot of faith related stuff here, I thought that I should do a quick rundown of my beliefs. I am a Southern Baptist, and I am somewhat Reformed.
I am against the evils of homosexuality, and abortion. I am very outspoken about those beliefs sometimes, and that can sometimes. That can sometimes not be good. I'll talk more about these things in future posts.

About this site.

Huge things are happening here. We changed our look. We changed what we do. We even changed our name. Now I'm doing even more damage- ahem, updating on other parts of the site. I apologize if anyone doesn't like this, but I must be doing something right, because I'm getting more viewers that ever. I'll post some other things than updates soon, but first I have to finish making changes. Bye!

Thank you Disqus

For some reason, the day I got Disqus, I had 159 page-views. Darn, that's a lot. Anyways (has anyone else noticed that I like to use that word?), I can't wait for some of the exciting things I have planned, so stay tuned!

Disqus+my site

Disqus is now added to my site.

Drastic site change in the making...

Hey guys! I just thought that I should tell you that, The AIOFansite will be going through some major changes shortly. We'll still post the occasional Odyssey news item that decides to surface, but we'll also be changing what we do a bit. From now on, I'm going to review books and movies on the site and on the Trent Show, and after a finish a few more episodes of Titus Billings, I'm going to take a break from audio drama production, and focus back in on the blog. Our upcoming stuff will be similar to Christopher 164's blog, and I'm going to try harder to get Disqus on the AIOFansite. Well, I need to go start working on that. Bye.

Ehem...

Hey awesome readers of the A-I-O Fansite!!! What's up? For me, I just got glasses, I'm about to move, and me and Section Solo are procrastinating on making The Adventures of Titus Billings: Back On the Battlefield . Good times. Anyhoo, check out our new SpeakPipe sound widget!
Here is a pic of our site:

If you take a peek at the right of the screen, you'll see this:
That is the widget. It's the same widget they use at Audio Theatre Central. So send us a voice mail, and you might just end up in an upcoming Trent Show Podcast!

31 Posts of Truuuth! (The AIO Alcove's Commitment)

Hello, AIOFansite devotes. This is Micah LeClercq sustaining a commitment of daily posts every day for the month of May, a compilation of "Thirty Jays Hath September" and the OAC's "31 Days of Truuuth!" entitled "31 Posts of Truuuth!" These paraphernalia will encompass a King James Version Bible verse alluding to the concept of truth, so I aspire your attendance to The AIO Alcove's experimental series of posts. Visit The AIO Alcove to scrutinize every...huh...post every...hmm...day this May.

New OAC Adventure!

Wow! What a great month for the OAC! I've got a lot of news to pack into one article, and not much time to do it. Let's try this...

#Historic Moment

Hey guys! I just wanted to say that we are just hours away from the release of the first B-TV episode since 2007! That's seven years since the last B-TV episode! Unfortunately, this episode is only available on the OAC, so if I were you, I'd spend five bucks to get one month of OAC, just to check it out. Seriously OAC haters, you're really missing out. In the latest AIO podcast, linked to here, you can check out a preview for the upcoming episode. Oh, and just for clarification, Bernard Walton is not in this episode. :( I wonder who will be running his show. Probably Whit or Mr. Skint.

Anyways, hope you had a great April! Mine was, hmm, average. I killed my knee last month, and the only sport I've been allowing myself to play is football. Yerps. An average month, but please pray for me, because I'm moving to Edwardsville, Illinois on May 11th.

Oh, and BTW, the next episode of Titus Billings, The Adventures of Titus Billings, Back on the Battlefield, will come out in two parts, the first part to be released soon. I'm just waiting for the last of the actors to send me their lines. Thank you, all who participated. It was awesome to have so many people back me on this. I'd also like to thank Section Solo for the great music his made for the new drama. It's even better than his last music!

Well, I've gotta go. I'll post again soon!

Expect the Worst (episode 497)

The tower is gone! I think that is the only bright side of this episode. With the tower gone, the boxes won't work anymore so at least that much is fixed.
But as for Tom... I do not think that he actually blew up the tower. Here's why... Ok so in the scene, Cal is climbing the tower. Cal sees someone running from where the tower is, down the hill and into the woods. Then less than a minute later, Tom comes up the hill from his farm. Right there you can see that the 2 people are not the same. Tom was in his house, not the woods, so how can he be going into the woods one minute and coming from his farm the next. Something isn't right here...
Second of all, when Tom comes running up the hill he tells the boys the tower is going to blow and that they need to get away. Why would he come back to save the boys if he put the bomb there. He knew that it could blow up any second, so why would he risk his life like that if he put the bomb there. That is like suicide.
Lastly, it is not Tom because even though he told Whit he would pull the tower down if he could, why would he physically do that? He is a christian. Besides it is someone else's property, they are leasing from you. If you go and blow up there tower then that's like renting your basement out to someone then throwing their things out of the house because you don't like them.
Also, saying something is different from actually doing it, (although there is the argument that: saying something does lead to acting upon it.)

Alright, enough about Tom.

In the last episode, Exceptional Circumstances, we saw Jason talk to Monika about the Novabox and how she was blinding herself from the truth of it. In this episode, we saw Monika actually listened to Jason and go and talk to Mr. Charles about the box.
This was the first episode I actually liked Monika. She decided to do something good and moral. Even Mr. Charles noticed her "remove her mask"-> that's why he asked her if she is doing this for some "moral" reason. (But being the person she is, she of course lied to his face.)
I think since the last episode where she talk to Jason, Monika is beginning to change. This is her time for redemption. I know that through more time, and of course Jesus, she can be fully changed and transformed. For now though, Jason has helped remove the blinders off, so now, she is looking for the true answer.
I have a feeling that Monika is going to change sides and help reveal everything to the police about Andromeda. But I think she also knows there is a cost. (That she will still receive jail time.)

Before I bring this review to a close, I wanted to say what I really liked about this episode. And that is the fact that AIO integrated Jack's group's prayer throughout the entire trial. Prayer is very important and I think people like Whit have been so busy trying to figure out Andromeda's next move and what their latest plan is, that they have forgotten to take time to stop and pray. Many times we as Christians forget to pray, and I think that this episode really was a reminder to those who have been neglecting or forgetting to pray, that they need to wake up and smell the coffee.

Anyways that's all for this--again--shorter review. I give this episode a thumbs up 👍🏼
