My take on fan-created podcasts is not good (especially the Whit's End podcast).
Alright, if you are doing an episode review in your podcast, or maybe updating us on the latest news, that's fine. But if you're babbling on and on about yourself, and not Odyssey, it no longer takes the form of an AIO podcast, it becomes a self-centered podcast about yourself. Enter The Whit's End podcast. This is quite possibly the worst of all AIO (don't blame this on Whit) podcasts. AIO Update linked to it because it had some info on the upcoming album, The Ties that Bind. I started to listen to see what they said, but I encountered the terrible truth about them. Here is the story of what happened:
I start listening to this thing to here what they said about the new album. I soon discovered that the podcast was thirty minutes long and that the host babbled on and on about how much he hated the OAC. This is lame, I thought. In short, I didn't even get to the part about the new album. (Listen for yourself, and in the comments, tell me what you think: http://thewepodcast.com/podcasts/episode-78/)
This is just part one, but in part 2, I'll tell you some of the positive points on AIO podcasts.
Oh and I need just 6 more views to hit 200!
