Quick update...

Hey guys! How long has it been since I posted about AIO? Well, there's a reason for that. Not much is going on in Odyssey until the new episodes come out in a few weeks. All my news seems to be Titus Billings, Titus Billings, TITUS BILLINGS,

TITUS BILLINGS!

I'm sorry about that, if anyone was annoyed by it. It's just so fun to write an audio drama. I'll try to find some Odyssey news worth posting.

Sorry for two things...

Hey I have to apologies to make.
First, I haven't been around for the past few days. I was camping.
The number two more important thing, is the violence in Titus Billings. A couple of people have complained about that. If you have any concerns, comment on the post to tell me. The next adventure, Back On the Battlefield, will be very much less violent (violent being on air killings). So I'm sorry people, that's the point of this post.
-Trenton Landmark

UPDATE: After further review, we did not find conclusive evidence about Titus Billings being "too violent". Contact me at aiofansite@gmail.com if you have any questions

Respecting the Holocaust at the Alcove

Hello, frequents of the AIOFansite. This is Micah LeClercq with an announcement of today's memorial in Isreal. For those of you who are dearth in WWII history, the Holocaust occurred not 80 years ago from today, as 4/15-4/16 comprises the anniversary of this heinous penalizing from the Nazis to the Jews. Although this post on my blog, The AIO Alcove, is a smidgen more mature and disturbing for most young readers, I implore you to join the recollection by clicking here. Doing so will redirect you to the memorial dedication to the 6 million Jews killed. Thank you, and good night.

Whoa! That was a whole year ago? That's pretty radical. I'll even add a link to the first time I ever started making an Audio Drama: http://aiofansite.blogspot.com/2014/08/the-adventures-of-titus-b.html.
Isn't that interesting. Titus Billings is almost a year old, too!

The Pilots Of Oaklen: What's the Plan?

Bailef Barnes sat in the Culidiran Aerospace waiting room for the rest of his team. Squad 1 was the title that most people called them, because they were the one and only group of survivors to escape Oaklen. The door opened, and 6 other pilots walked into the room. Frunwick Hochig, admiral of the former Oaklenian Space force, Dan Raleigh jokester, and hot shot, Ral Gartons, radio and computer know-it-all, Jake Isutnion, whiz pilot, Gragam Hulshztix the only Culidrian on the team, and Sam Jenkins, a twelve year old know-it-all. "Well", said Hochig, "It's our mission to get Trenton Landmark out of Oaklen, and onto Culidrial. Do any of you have any ideas about how 7 pilots are going to get past 10 war cruisers?"
To be continued...

The final part of Titus Billings: Origins, is out!

The Pilots Of Oaklen, Part 1, Payback

Payback

By Trenton Landmark

Bailef Barnes, who was a part of the Oaklenian air-force, was on his way to the Krentilon Sector. As he skillfully piloted his speedy air ship through the Marovian asteroid field, he noticed a Culidrian ship being unfairly harassed by larger, malevolent Jalovian vessel. Because Oaklen was a strong ally of Culidrial, and an even stronger enemy of Jalovia, Barnes quickly went to the aid of the small Culidrian aircraft. When Barnes joined the tussle, the battle immediately turned for the worse for the Jalovian, who fled away quickly. Barnes radioed the Culidrian, to see if he was alright. The Culidrian, whose name was Gragam Hulshztix, expressed that he was and thanked Barnes. After a brief word, they parted ways. Bailef would not think much of this incident for many years.

On one, fatal day, Oaklen was pelted by bombs from Jalovian airships. People all over the city were brutally killed.  Bailef Barnes, who was sleeping at the beginning of the attack, woke up to his house exploding. If Bailef had been inches closer to the bomb, he would have been killed. Because the space port was destroyed, there were no Oaklenian ships to fight the Jalovians. The bombing didn't stop after the first volley- it continued. Bailef saw many terrible things happen; a family desecrated by a bomb that hit their house; a kindergarten incinerated by three bombs at once; two boys running for an alley, but one of them hit by a rock from a destroyed building before he could make it. The other pulled him in, but Bailef wasn't sure if he was still alive. As Barnes ran, he noticed a group of other soldiers running into a building. He joined them.

“Ah, Colonel Bailef Barnes, you've decided to join us.” The speaker was Frunwick Hochig, the admiral of the of the Oaklen air-force. The group wasn't large. Just a few of the pilots: Dan Raleigh, Ral Gartons, Jake Isutnion.  When the group settled down (they were rather excited), Hochig sullenly looked out the window. “They're about to launch a ground attack. Let's meet them with our own counterstrike”. Valiant effort was made on the side of Oaklen that day, and because of the bravery of Dan Raleigh, they captured ships from the enemy. And who from the Culidrian air force do you think was there to help the Oaklenians? That's right. Commander Gragam Hulshztix.

That story was written as a writing assignment. The two boys he mentions seeing are Titus and Keeve. Only one of the pilots has an appearance in the audio drama- Dan Raleigh (who is killed in his first scene). I may start a mini series off of this, called "The Pilots of Oaklen". Many of the characters will never appear in the drama, but they'll still be great characters (hopefully). The main characters will probably be Ral Gartons, Jake Isutnion, Frunwick Hochig, and Bailef Barnes. These stories will fit right into the audio drama. The first one has a bit of a sudden ending, because I ran out of time. Anyways, tell me what you think of it!
-Trenton Landmark, hope you enjoyed!

OAC first comment- April, and more!

The first commentor-er-or on the OAC this month was keichan, but that's not all we have on the plate, there's more!
Album 60's official summary was released to me today, it is as follows:
When Whit's health suddenly takes a turn for the worse, the crowed at Whit's End have to cope with the possibility that Whit might die. Barrett breaks his arm, Buck gets beat up, and Matthew deals with pressure at school. Penny's family also comes to town for a special event. What more could happen in Adventures in Odyssey Album 60? To find out, listen to this epic album dealing with death, marriage, peer pressure, and bullies.
Cool huh?

Something is gonna arrive, and I don't know what it is...

That's right, for the past year, I've been catching hints about an upcoming AIO fansite, called, Odyssey Addict. I don't know much about it, but it's been a Facebook page since 2012, and they have a Twitter account that says:
The Offcial Twitter page of Odyssey Addict, and Adventures In Odyssey fansite coming Summer 2015.
Back to Trenton talking again, I noticed they spelled "Official" wrong which might point to a kid running the whole outfit, and Shona Kennedy mentioned them during the interview I did for the Trent Show about a year ago. She said she would be working with them on something top secret. Hmm... If anyone from AIO Addict sees this post, give me some explanation about what's going on in the comment bar.

Titus Billings: Origins part 2, coming REALLY, REALLY soon.

Odyssey Time, by Mr. Whit's

Mr. Whit's End has done an elaborate editorial on Odyssey Time on his site, The Cryin' Brian Dern Blog.  Check it out on his blog here, or read it on the AIOFansite below:

Odyssey Time

It's the age old question: Odyssey Time. AIO has never given an answer on it, but gauging from several references in the show, we may make several reasonable guesses at the rate time passes in Odyssey.

Before we start, some background information:
The year in album 1 will always be assumed to be 1987.
The formula for time passage per album is: number of albums passed / number of years passed

And it all continues...

As The Adventures of Titus Billings: Origins, comes closer and closer to completion, I'd like to thank all those involved in the first production. First, thank you to Mr. Whit's End, for your tireless work on the music for the production. Next, I'd like to thank the three original actors, Rudy Mason, Cody Mason, and Jason Landmark, for donating their voice talent to this drama. Finally, I'd like to thank Narnia QA Guy for our logo.

Thank you, Nathan Hoobler!

I emailed Nathan Hoobler yesterday this email:
Hey, this is Trenton Landmark, of the AIOFansite. I was wondering if you could tell me the titles of album 59's episodes? Thanks!
Today I got this response:

Dear Trenton,
We aren’t revealing those just yet (though we will be soon). However, I can reveal the title of Episode 1: “First Things First.”
 Nathan

So, episode one will be called "First Things First".
Since it's the first episode in the album, it will be episode number 777. So it will be officially be:

#777: “First Things First”
Well, that's the second album in a row of reporting the at least one of the episode titles first.
Yes!

Titus Billings: Origins, Part 1

It's not the whole thing, but it's Part 1 of 2, and it's most of Origins. Enjoy!

Titus Billings More Artwork.

That's is the first piece of art for Titus Billings.

And that's Keeve.
I also thought about building them in Legos:
     Keeve                                                      Titus

So that's it for now. Oh, I also fixed up the pilot, and added a few more scenes.

Exceptional Circumstances (episode 496)

Wow that was a big surprise. Duncan Mathias's sister is Monika Stone! It's interesting that Monika's reason for helping Andromeda is for her brother. She knows the technology isn't working, so why she is still trying to help Andromeda is a mystery.
One thing that did shock me about Monika was that she let her mask slide a bit when she was talking to Jason about her brother. It seems like her brother is close to her heart. I think this episode showed us that even though Monika is trying to find the answer for her brother in the wrong places, at least she cares enough to try and get an answer. She isn't as cold hearted as we all thought.
She can get the true answer she needs if she wants it. All she needs is Jesus and I really hope Jason is the one to show her the way. Jesus can not only heal her brother, but he can help take away the guilt Monika feels about her brothers' injury. Also, maybe by accepting Jesus, it will help Monika see what she is trying to shield herself from, that Andromeda is a liar and is not really trying to help her brother. Andromeda is just trying to do only what's best for them. I hope Monika changes sides in future episodes and instead helps Jason and the rest of the group stop Andromeda.

Now about Monika's brother Duncan, because of his information, we now know everything that went on, in full detail, during the research. Like the fact that Duncan Mathias was the guinea pig and all the research Eugene was involved in actually worked. My only question is, now that Whit and the gang know everything and Eugene's research is in the hands of Andromeda, why hasn't Eugene come back? He's not in any particular danger. Maybe he will come back sometime during the final few episodes of the saga. We will just have to wait and see. (I really hope he does come back and this wasn't AIO's attempt to "kill him off").

In this episode, We also found out what is particularly bad about the Novabox. Whit was talking on the radio and warning all Novabox owners about it, but he didn't have a first hand witness or an extract argument to go by. Now that we have heard from Duncan, we know that the Novabox is really dangerous. The Novabox effects reverse themselves.
I know it's gonna happen to Agnes Riley. She is already starting to experience the reversal. She is forgetting that Jimmy passed away and in a coming episode, she forgets to turn the stove off and burns her hand.
It's sad that Tom is not listening to Whit. Like Monika, because it is helping his wife like the technology (sort of) helped Duncan, he is blinding himself from the truth. Andromeda is always up to no good so why should this be any different? Andromeda knows that the technology isn't fully tested and from what we have seen, they haven't take a step to try and fix it. Andromeda doesn't care if innocent people are hurt.

Also, in this episode, Mitch was trying to decode the things written on Andromeda's database. I think Andromeda had it all planned for the people to be buying fizzy cola, greezly chips and birdhouses. It's a part of the Novabox test run, to see how well their technology actually can affect people. They are using the people of Odyssey as lab rats!
I'm still wondering what "Clairmont", "Triumphant" and "Launch Date" are. "Triumphant" is probably a passcode And I think that "Clairmont" is either a passcode like "Triumphant" is, or it is a part of their tests like the soda, chips, and bird houses are. As for the "Launch Date", it might be a date where Andromeda start selling their technology to the rest of the world. I think areas like Odyssey are the test market for the Novaboxes. So on a certain date, these boxes will begin to sell to the rest of the world. That's just a guess.

I really like how this story arc is turning out. It is by far better than the Dr. Blackgaard Chronicles. (Of Course that's just my own opinion). I think AIO has stepped it up a bit in their writing and ideas. The episodes just keep getting better and better as the seasons go by! There's only 3 episodes left in the saga and I know they will be big!
This was a shorter review, but I think I covered all the important points I wanted to mention within its small length.
I really liked this episode so I'm giving it a thumbs up 👍.
